Las Palmas pushing for Mubarak Wakaso loan deal next month

Las Palmas are in talks with Panathinaikos for a six-month loan move for midfielder Mubarak Wakaso.

The La Liga outfit wants to secure him during the January window although he will be at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.

He has scored one goal in 8 league appearances.

Wakaso is reported to be unsettled at the Greek Super League side, and a return to Spain could be an escape route.

The 25-year-old was a hit on loan at the Estadio de Gran Canaria from Rubin Kazan with 20 La Liga appearances and scored one goal.
